Pure Belgian dark chocolate over crunchy almonds, on a biscotti made with Sir Galahad artisan brown rice flour instead of wheat — plus farm-fresh egg whites and rich butter, twice-baked by hand in Greenport until the crunch is non-negotiable.

Same honest note as its almond sibling: we are not a dedicated gluten-free facility. This is baked in the same kitchen as our wheat biscotti, so we don't call it certified gluten-free, and we can't promise it's safe for celiac disease or a serious wheat allergy.

And to be equally clear on the other side of the label: this is not a dairy-free cookie. There's real butter in the bake, and the chocolate is the real thing too.

Is this safe for celiac disease?

We can't promise that. It's baked in the same kitchen as our wheat biscotti — we're not a dedicated gluten-free facility, and we don't recommend it for anyone with celiac disease or a serious wheat allergy.

Does it contain dairy?

Yes. There's real butter in the biscotti, so it isn't dairy-free — made without gluten does not mean dairy-free. It also contains soy, from the lecithin in the dark chocolate.

How is it different from your classic Chocolate Almond Biscotti?

Same twice-baked method and the same Belgian dark chocolate — the difference is the flour. This one uses brown rice flour; the classic uses wheat flour.

No actual almonds . Very small too expensive but they taste ok

We do use actual almonds in the MWG Biscotti. We have to crush them to smaller pieces to help the rice flour bond. We tried to use the whole almonds and they just crumbled.

Sorry they didn't meet your expectations.
